"We'd decided on our honeymoon being in York. People were surprised at our choice, however it was inspired! The apartment was ideal in everyway - a real home from home and ideally located on the river bank in the centre of the city. My only concern is that as news spreads of this place future bookings may have to be made way in advance...... thank you for letting us stay here". S & AM, Bangor, Wales, September 2011

"This book is pages of praise for the accommodation & we entirely agree! A great deal of care is evident everywhere". A & HM, Chichester, August 2011
"First class accommodation with some lovely touches such as the flowers, fresh milk and free range eggs. We recommend some great cycling routes along the river and a day trip to Durham on the train - taking the guided tour of the Cathedral. Evensong in York Minster is lovely. Cricket at Scarborough was great. North beach is lovely; south beach best avoided. We ate at Ask (fabulous building) and the Living Room round the corner. Museum Gardens are lovely on a sunny day as is a picnic in the grounds of Castle Howard". J & KJ, Cardiff - August 2011.
